Everyone makes mistake, and yo learn from them. Its the best way to learn, at least no one was hurt and it was a corsa. Atleast you know for next time you drive, to drive bit more sensible especially when it is wet.

Regardless if its a corsa or not, do you not care about your car? Had my licence three years now and not even a scrape, I drive carefully. Not 100% of the time but i dont drive like a prick.

Obviously the people on here that say they are saints and have never driven like a prick have not been driving that long.

cheers didnt see the point in lieing they could see i was going to fast and from how bent the lampost was I've been doing research and its 3-9 points for careless driving and possible of 5grand fine dont think i can be done for speeding as theres no actual proof the road was wet so..... hopefully i wont be fucked over

they have all the proof they need to show that you were driving too fast for the conditions (besides you said you told them you were going too fast?). Speeding is a seprate offence and pretty minor, they will do you for a much higher offence that would also cover that rather than charge you with two offences.

Tbh taking out a lampost after losing control while trying to take an island at stupid speeds in the wet would probably be enough to get you a charge of dangerous driving rather than careless driving. If they tell you they are doing you for careless then think yourself very lucky imo.

i crashed a bmw and wrote of another car, totally my fault and instead of asking people what might happen i jsut bit my lip and got on with it.

highways agency will charge the insurance for the clean up so you better hope you didnt lie on the insurance cos if they void it somehow you are fucked my friend.

the way i see it you crashed, you were going to fast and lost control, glad your ok but have zero sympathy, if someone had crashed into you or you wrote it off in a non cuntish way then i would have a different attitude.

the second you stamp on the loud pedal you are giving away all of your rights for sympathy so no1 can complain if anyone is being harsh about it.

if you learnt how to drive you wouldnt have crashed... simples hence the laughing at the start of the thread !!
