that looks very nice :) i think mk1s-3s look good with subtle lows, like yours, maybe the front down a tiny bit otherwise looks mint

It's proper proper clean and subtle with the drop and the wheels so let that speak for itself.

But i'm a bit of a 'less is more' kinda guy.

Few more small updates!

Replaced the plastic gear knob and rubber gaiter with leather ones lol

Took a pic of the sub while i was there, amp is screwed to the back of it hidden away, sounds amazing

Also tracking the car earlier and its being a pain as its only adjustable one side, found out how to adjust it now but would appreciate any tips on doing it

As for tracking. Get the drivers side lined up parallel, then adjust the passengers side to match.

If you struggle, theres a plenty of places that can do it, you just need to perservere with the BS they give you about the car being too low, and your NS tie rod being bent. As soon as places tell me they cant track my car, as the tie rods bent, thats usually when I grab my keys and drive on to somewhere else .

Cheers man :) well i work at a garage with all the latest tracking equipment lol problem is we dont track many 22 year old cars lol! And its been a while since anyone there had tracked one aswell! Ah well its all sorted now just need to test it out make sure its all ok!

Yeah its a bit of a pain tbh its a stupid design, then you have to take steering wheel off an put it on straight again lol ah well we'll see what it turns out like when it goes for a drive

As a rule, I don't like BBS alloys, but those work superbly on your car. If you lower it more it's likely to look a bit crap and really, you don't need more lows (I'm a bit bias on this point) as it causes more hassle than you need. If I were you, I'd enjoy it just the way it is, it looks excellent.

Really tidy, great looking breadvan. The only thing i'd change, when the time comes, is the tyre size - 175/60s would give the whole car a better profile imo. Don't underestimate what a small change in tyre size can do for your car.

Otherwise, just wow.

ha seats are a bit granny spec lol and the gaitor was from ebay, only 8 quid or something like that fits well though :)

what size tyres are on those bbs atm? cause I'm thinking about getting some on my bready but dunno what size will fit in the rear arches (with as little work as possible to arches)

Yeah i always thought they would be awful and not fit but they fit great tbh so its all good!

Tyres are 175/50/13 I'm down 60/40 the rear lip doesnt catch the tyres at all but its quite close! i recon i could go 80/60 and theyd still be fine, i had the same problem searching about for wheels as i didnt want to get altering the rear arches but these fit perfect.

yeah thats my problem! I'm down about 80 or 90 on the rear and coilovers on the front so i dont no what to get, I'm thinking either some of these the 13s or 14s, or the 14" "g60" look a likes..........

Id of thought you'd need some rear archwork at 80-90 on the rears with whatever wheels you get lol! I'm only 40 on the rear and I'm thinking of taking a few mm off the inner lip to give a bit more space, and maybe 165 tyres instead of 175, depends on what wheels your thinking, i was going to get classics but decided against it in the end because of the width, up to you man.
