Well sold my 13" bbs's and replaced them with some 14"

tyre size 155/55/14's

then decided I wanted to go lower so replaced the 60mm fk springs with 80mm philj ones

to be honest I was hoping the spring change would take it quite a bit lower, but as you can see it hasn't :( part of me is tempted to get coilys on the front but the price of them is really putting me off! anyone else got pics of them running 80mm at front mk2 polo would be interesting to see!

The front doesn't look too high really, but you can always grind a coil off your springs before going to the expense of coilies.

If its not low enough then heat the springs a tad, It will make the springs sag a little adding a bit more low!!

I did think of that but wasnt sure if it would work! Not sure what to do next lol! Runnig out of ideas cant afford engine modsss

Ah i see what you mean, yer thats a point, I'm on 80mm front springs at the front, surely standard shocks wouldnt make a difference to how low its going, they are no where near the end of their travel, its not like the oil based fluid would be compressed as the valve would just disperse this?

Such a beautiful breadvan i just picked my self one up but it is no where near as clean as that mine is more like tornado pink the amount the paint has faded. Also what is the spec of them 14" wheels ? If you know.

Yeah I see what your saying personally I'd chop a coil out and see how it sits. Which will be alright till you get some coilovers. Can't wait to get coils on mine hate having no adjustment

Cheers man! Takes alot of polishing! And tyre size is 155/55/14 wheels are bbs ra's and they are 14x6j not sure on offset, you need longer bolts for the 14" bbs's though!

Currently shocks and springs on this coupe my last one has coilovers all round though but ill get some more soon as possible hopefully next month,

Cheers mattloaf, i am keeping an eye out for some interior for this, want something to hold you in the seat a bit better even though this interior is quite nice! If anyone knows of any or has any for sale give me a shout, genesis,gt, g40 interior anything really! Yeah I'm still thinking about coilovers but ile give it a few months i recon. Pay my holiday off first haha! also thinking about maybe a coupe s, or gt/g40 steering wheel to touch up the inside, i found some old school audi window winders think they were off an 80? on ebay which i snapped up alot nicer looking and better quality than the polo ones! Also need some genuine floor mats too! Base spec bready going up to top spec!
