I need to remove and refit my front indicators on my GTi but cannot for the life of me work out how they come off and go back on

ok i'll try and explain this but its pretty hard. theres something u need to pull up, I'm sure if you look at it now knowing u need to pull something up your get it.

I know what you mean about the pull up bit but mine do not move literally! you can pull but nothing happens, not even with pillars

someone may have super glued it because it was lose?

You can pull them away from the car.... Just cant realise the spring or whatever it is,

ye its the spring, may be caught on something. get a little screw driver or something?

I can pull the away from the car, and do a dance with them or whatever lol, but they will just not come away from the spring and the bar goes up into the headlight which confuses me? you sure you dont need to push the bar down to realise them?

So simple but not proving easy!

Tomorrows task, pull lever so much it snaps lol.........

Long needle nose pliers, keep twisting that lil thing, whatever colour it now is, purple, black, cream, orange, it doesnt matter, just twist it 90 degree and pull up, should be a bit of resistance, not much though..

As above, twist 90 degrees and pull up. It will look cream on the one side due to the black plastic bit has snapped off, like both of mine. Good luck
