Haven't updated for a while i suppose!

Got a new headunit and rear speakers for christmas so i've fitted them properly not pikey wiring! All hidden up properly, with pictures to follow, also bought a fudge wheel and 'decrapped' both sides of the car, just need to get a proper paint match as halfords ask you for your paint code and go find you the paint, hardly a paint match if you ask me!! Also waiting for the good weather to arrive!

Previous post i had been putting putty in the cat to quieten it down and finally got round to welding it up the other week as the putty was blowing out at around 70mph making it pointless.

Birthday has recently been too so putting money from there to invest in some part worn lower profiled tyres, and scirocco seats and rear bench if i can source one too!

Also partly fixed the sunroof for now until properly in the summer, the prev owner has just bunged some silicone sealer in and any seal he could find which i found out the other day as its about 15cm too big!! So cleaned it up and put some clear sealer in just for now as it is a constant leak if its raining and you get a second shower of your day.

Another updateeee, since i haven't posted in a while!

The car had a mileage birthday the other week, hit 80k!

Gave the car a good wash and polish this afternoon too, only to be rewarded with a snapped handbrake cable I'm pretty sure!

Pulled up to the drive, pulled the handbrake on the hill i have to get on my drive to wait for a second, handbrake made a bang noise and car rolled backwards .

The other month i also managed to reverse into the corner of a wall. Which was annoying! Another bit of bodywork for the summer noww great!

Pretty boring update, bring on summerr or atleast better weather!

Soo i've got some pictures of me and my friends adventuresof us going to a abandoned asylum, which is an abandoned mental hospital.. walking round is well interesting! Was built in the 1800's and been going until around 1950 ish I'm not 100% sure! But definitely get a few good snaps if we wanted too!

Soo only got 3 pictures as they're the favourites! Got some more to come later on! I'll let the pics do the talking!

Cheeers darl! It is indeed :(! But can't paint in this time of the year outside, so going to wait for it to brighten and warm up! Got to sort osme bubbles out around the boot and door too!

Its the one going towards broadland business park, you can see it from Macro iirc :)

Nothing really to update apart from my handbrake cable snapped the other week which was frustrating, as there was 17 years of corrosion holding the cable in the seat :L, so drilled it out from the axle and replaced the castle/square nuts with a couple of stainless bolts and nuts, and holds it alot better and will stop it from corroding up as bad next time!

Also when replacing the cable the sensor in the handbrake has stopped working so may have a look at that today as well as wash and polish the car, its look sorry for its self.

Got a full rear brake overhaul for it as well, both cylinders and shoes. The rear cylinder is seeping a little so when the weather decides to man up then ill get on with it!

Cheeeers! Just some silicone stuff, there are templates for the rear speakers but i don't think they'd fit too well! Its done the job and they hide up well too!

Alsooooo, painted my petrol cap back to white again the other day, its a bit creamier, but thats what the colour was apparently the previous owner told me. Both sides of the car are getting repainted in better weather anyway.

And replaced my battery as my car kept dying after a full day/nights charging after a few days, the alternator was putting out 14.3v too so it wasnt that either!

Was pleasantly surprised to find only a bit of surface rust in the battery tray when i took the battery out! And no work had been done previously on it!

Car is alot cleaner than in the pictures and also the petrol cap/flap has returned to white as you can see in the previous thread update!

MOT coming up sooon too! A few bits to do for that including:

Rear brakes - replace cylinders/shoes

CV Boot - split

Track rod - bush perished

Uhm probably a couple more but I'm sure it'll go through okay! Fingers crossed

You can see the paint difference in the bottom picture really bad too which will need painting in the summer

Nothingg really to update, just a top up of fluids.

And went to Northamptonshire yesterday which was a 220 mile all around trip and the car didn't skip a beat with 3 bikes in the boot and 4 of us in the car!

Gooood times :-). All of this was done with 30 pounds put in the tank and still going on afterwards currently on 252 miles without filling up after! Not sure if thats good or not thoughh? :-)

Absolutely raged/ upset whatever..

5 of us were at my house and we didnt hear them, they bent the door open and pulled the pin up :@.

They nicked my stereo cd player, which is annoying as its caused more problems then whats it worth. And they were totally oblivous to the bmx and the £200 pound tripod in the back too.

Going to source a door in the summer or maybe soon from the scrapyard, and have already sourced another headunit

I know right, no idea but they must of been drippy twats honestly got a screwdriver on the side of the headunit and ripped it out, checked the glove box but didnt move anything and were oblivious to my stuff in the back haha. I would love to mash the shit out of whoever done it regardless!

I really really don't mind honestly mine doesnt even hardly seal haha! Car needs a respray haha.

Yeah sure well I will give my dad a text and let him know I need it off, then get back to you! The paints not great on it, but it's a nice door, no dents and only minimal surface rust along the bottom.
