No rust, body work is in good condition! apart from around door handle, scratches from previous owners, and a small scratch on the bump strip on the off side rear quarter.

Electric windows, left one can stick but cheap to fix!

Central locking!

Air conditioning!

15 inch aftermarket alloys with good tyres!

Good service history!

No tax, but MOT until january!

I think your best bet is autotrader sold mine on there. Mine had 80k on the clock though and i sold it for 1200 and that was a struggle.. bad time to sell cars mate but free bump for you :)

mate all them scratches u taken pics of can all b taken out by buffing them with machine polisher BUT beware it aint easy and if u dont do it right u could end up burnin the paintwork off you are car= requirin a respray

dont make a difference to time of yr, if the cars mint and the right spec they always sell, this bein in black is a massive mega bonus :-) aint even looked on the trader but i bet u there's <20 odd in the whole of the uk in this colour around you are askin price and i doubt any of them have the mega spec of you are car; aircon/ service history/ rims etc...

yeh ano there not too bad to get out as i did my whole mk3, it was covered and they came out easy enough! yeah i mean ime being as honest as i can be! with a good clan and a polish it would be shit hot, i love black, really nice car its just a shame no one wants it!! its a good car, just need's a bit of TLC, as any car does cheers anyway man! wanna buy it haha ??

1000 black 6n2 gti's made in the colour, and i suspect alot more lower spec black ones.

your price is about right there mate. i strugged selling my polo 1.0E this time last year, managed 1.1k but with more miles ect.

I'm surprised as if u look on autotrader you are b lucky to get a good low mileage <80k mk4 polo for <1k, e.g. a silver 1.4 cl there some even shiftin them for 1.5k

but then again therew low milers with fulll histories!!!

thats just the traders looking at the perents who buy there children 1st cars... there was a 6n on 60k in macclesfield at a garage for £2600...

its just people who dont look hard enough for bargings these days, if piked up 2 cars now at half there usual price.

Anyway sorry for spamming the thread, this is one car i would be looking at if i where to getting a 6n2 agian.

You would probably have more luck with a long mot but with 1 months test on and not willing to put another on it you have certainly put me off. If you decide to get another test on it let me know, cheers.

thanks for the comment guys, and yeh, it is a bargain especialy with all the optional extras there, but when a car has been knocked down 500 quid from origional an mot wouldent be anywhere near that, anyways, TTT.

mate u can price the car at 4000 and knock 2500 off and say its a bargin because uve just knocked 2.5k quids off you are not givin a longer mot, no one buys a car espiecally one targeted at young drivers without a long mot as they'll think it'll soon b unroadworthy
