  • Slight update.....it is now fully MOT'd, taxed and insured as of Saturday morning. I've been driving it the past 2 days with no problems apart from the boost hose that clamps on the turbo likes to pop

  • Picked it up yesterday, It's an animal - Pics and videos to follow over the weekend

Small-ish Update

Going to have a chat with a guy on Saturday morning about getting this mapped so thing's could be moving again :spiteful:

Another small update:

- Emptied the inside of the car apart from the dash and gave the inside of the shell a decent clean

- Tidied up some of the interior wiring that's under the carpets

- New underlay has been fitted throughout the car

- One of the bonnet Pins has been fitted (Other one next weekend)

- Gave it a long overdue wash

List left to do:

- Got a guy from OBD Works coming round in the next few weeks to fix the brake lights, they aren't working for some reason

- Weld up some sub frames for my new seats

- Swap round the rear dishes on the wheels, decided to go a slightly smaller width to run more suitable tyres so I can actually drive the thing!

- Fit other bonnet pin

- Go for MOT, Insure and Tax

- Remap

New Seats, (Thanks to Luke! pics when in his car):

Hi,

I'm not running a header tank as the bay as been smoothed. Instead it's got an in-line filler which is located on the top radiator hose.

You can just about see it in this pic here (Silver thing connected to that blue house on the right hand side):

Hi,

He didnt use a header tank, it is a smooth bay so a header tank would look fugly, he used an inline filler cap and plumbed it into the top rad pipe going to the thermostat housing.
