  • Slight update.....it is now fully MOT'd, taxed and insured as of Saturday morning. I've been driving it the past 2 days with no problems apart from the boost hose that clamps on the turbo likes to pop

  • Picked it up yesterday, It's an animal - Pics and videos to follow over the weekend

  • Yeah I'll be there haha

Gear box loooks nice n fresh, i can imagine your engine is going to get painted aswell (unless you've already done it). I wish i would have painted my engine when it was out. Not too far away now. There should be a big update on mine tomorrow ha.

Yeah smoothing is the most time consuming/head ache thing I've done on the car I think lol so it better be worth it :)

lol you said it mate, took me a year to smooth my bay fron bare metal to been painted.

Spent today finishing off the mounts :) grinding a few bits off and making them nice and smooth! Also decided to paint the starter motor the same colour so it's all colour coded together with the gearbox!

Haha cheers man! Haven't driven it for ages, can't wait to drive it again!

Harry you running a stand alone ecu? or standard remapped? as I'm wondering if you meant by de-imobilizing the car as I'm running Megasquirt and just not running an immobilizer as it wont recognize the immobilizer.

I'm going to run standard management just re-mapped, got it de-immobilised already so it will work with my key etc :)

No idea if it means I can't actually run an immobiliser now? I thought its just so you can use any key etc?

Remember to get me measurements so I can make you some forged pistons

Loving the progress mate, haven't touched mine in a while. Getting ready to move into a MASSIVE unit so shes been put to the side whilst we sort out for the big move and get it all prepared :)

I'm thinking summertime :|

P.s. loving the grey :)

Paint work look very nice ;) still alot more to do and with other jobs to do it will be a close call to get it done for.......
