Try to find the paint code, you would be suprised this colour varies alot, especially with fade etc. If yours is more pink polish it up with a buffer, should bring it straight back, this happened on my bonnet after I had both sides resprayed (looked quite funny actually) so whipped out some g6 and the buffer and hey presto, good as new

When metallic paint fades its not so easy - its laquered so buffing doesn't touch the faded paint.

No its not there

Open the boot look directly underneath and slightly to the right of the locking mechanism on the car not the tailgate (stand on your head lol) it should be there as a paper sticker btw my paint cod is LC3K (canyon red according to the paint chip) if it's more pink it's probably memory red but check your code first
