I'm not saying he isnt a scammer, but he gave an address and generally came across as not a scammer, but he does live on isle of man, a usual give away, stays away from collections

I had that tahittiblue bloke pm me once and suspected bit dodgy.

I put up a thread asking where to buy mirror covers for a mk3 polo and got pm'd this

I asked him a bit more like you got any pics, how long would it take, what you make them out of and he was very vague answering them, so I suspected bit dodgey cause he had just joined and had low post count so thought fuck that.

you cant buy a working 6n2 1.4 16v auto for £350 or £750 i bought my valver for £1100 and that had a fucked gearbox, still drove it back from cornwall in fourth mind

Well, I have paid for and waiting for some items from SlamThatPolo..

SlamThatPolo is keeping in contact with me and I paid Via Paypal so I can claim back if need be.

Although I have repetitively asked for a tracking number and he still hasn't given me one (But I'm giving him the benifit of the doubt here - 99% of you fuckers on here are lazy with that kind of stuff). He says he sent it via DHL 2 days courier on Wednesday so should be here today, he PM'd me yesterday saying it's an extra 24 hours because he's from isle of white, which is understandable.. (or he didn't post until Thursday which is also understandable, people stall all the time when posting..)

I'm happy with him, his contact and level of replies with his friendliness. If it's not here for Monday, alarm bells will be certainly ringing. It's always hard buying off a newbie with all the trouble this forum has had. But Paypal is safe and claim your money back friendly. So SlamThatPolo is either legit or dumb, I'm going with legit for the time being.

I have just PM'd him with my concerns and asked for a tracking number, If he's legit I'll get one shortly, if not then.. Well.. We'll wait until Monday.

i have bin in contact with MrP and i have bought GTI Headlights of SlanThatPolo for 40 quid he replys all the time seems like a nice lad but again they always do not blaming anyone on anything but theres is a few tell tales signs somesthings up !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keeps yous posted

I can't help but feel like something is amiss here.

Firstly, I want to state to SlamThatPolo that I am not accusing you here, I am just using the little evidence I have to hand.

I am truly sorry if you are genuine, but with past events on Club Polo due to scammers and people not using evidence to express concerns publicly quick enough; others have lost out as as a result. If you are genuine, this can be rectified very quickly.

I am not pointing the finger here, just making people aware of what facts I have so other can make their own judgement.

Firstly, as the above posts/current thread, people have expressed their concerns. I PM'd you to express mine and asked for a tracking number. I know you have read that PM as your profiles stated last seen viewing private messages at a time after I have contacted you. A simple reply would have sufficed to put my concerns to rest, even if you don't have the tracking details to hand.

Secondly, why have you sold some GTi headlights after stating to me personally you didn't have any? Then why did you send the user this photo: Click Here when they look awfully familiar to these

Like I say, I'm not pointing the finger but I am expressing my concerns publicly so others can make their own call on the situation. I would feel guilty keeping this quiet only for others to fall into a potential scam.

If I am wrong and just being over concerned I apologise.
