a little tip, if you buy the left rear light from Norway (or other place where we drive on the left side), you get identical light on each side (without the white reverse lights, just a nice red taillight).

Looks much more clean and nice:)

and leave yourself with no reverse light.. great idea!!!

OR.. you could get the passanger side light from a left hand drive 6n2 and it will look even and youl have TWICE the amount of light for reversing, as aposed to none.. haha

time for a wee update so to day i got my self some Gti Xenons and i also got a full 6n2 dash and steering for £30

Was just on the phone to the guy I bought the GTi xenons off he's gona post then in then moring so just have then by friday happy days and will some pictures of the dash tomorrow what a steal

The attitude of some people on this thread is truly shocking. Are people competing here who has the most pages of their build threads or something? And those who write such a things like "yawn" shouldnt even be on websites like these. Take a look at James Ford's thread of his Mk3 Golf on edition38. He has more than 200 pages but who flippin cares? People go on these sites to share, communicate and appreciate. Why so much hate in the air?

As for the owner of the car...looks like a very interesting project going on there. I really want to see how these sidemarkers will look like. Always wanted to do it but never had courage. Will keep an eye on this...

Got to be honest aswell, I see a build thread with that many pages and I get put of looking and reading through it. The only comments I want to read are those of the builders and just see pictures of the progress, dont want to read other members rabbiting on about it!

Amen mate there is some people with attitude problems on here alright I just ignore them tbh yeah I always liked the side markers and wanted to but the first to do them there is a few things I have done thats never bin done yet like the ek civic side skirts I just wanted to be a bit differnt thanks for the comment buddy

Well I hope have a lot of pictures of progress very soon just trying to get front panel and drivers wing it's really hard to get parts for 6n2 over in Ireland

walked down to my local post office this moring in the pissing rain for these and got fucking soaked but it was so worth it cant believe i actually have them afther being scammed twice for 2 different sets but now i finely have a mint set of Gti Xenons

Looking like really good progress mate and a lot of time and effort has been put into this, good job for sticking with it.

Can't wait to see all the parts attached as it will probably be the first time I've seen a MK4 converted.. When we guna see the big update? :-)

Thanks mate I really can't wait to get it all put together myself I have picture in my head of how I wanted to turn out and won't be happy until every part on the car is how I pictured I have changed my mind with the car a few times put have a plan and am sticking to it
