Mk3 seat material on a Corrado seat?

Afternoon folks, have started to sort my garage out, as I need to put the car in it for the engine swap. I was thinking last night, I know there is a set of G40 front seats in there, as I have the rears and door cards in my car, but use corrado fronts. Just wondered if anybody have ever tried putting MK3 material onto corrado seats. I will get them side by side when i finally get to them, but its been such a long time since i used them, I can't really remember too well the general shape size etc.

Just thought i'd chuck the question up incase anybody had tried and succeded (or failed ) beforehand!
