Well first on the list for me is get the G40 running again as I'm tired of looking at it half done in my drive.

Once thats done I'll have three cars, the G40, the openair valver and the Laguna V6.

By this time next year I only want two cars (because of the new insurance laws) so I either have to sell one of the above...or sell two of the above and buy something completely different. I'll hopefully keep the G40 though as weirdly its the cheapest to insure.

What new insurance laws?

As of January 2011 if you are the registered keeper of a car that is taxed it MUST be on an insurance policy. Whether it is kept on or off the road if its taxed it MUST be insured.

A bit silly I know if you like putting a car away for the winter, now you will have to go through the hassle of claiming the tax back, put it on SORN, then cancel the insurance or switch it or whatever, then you'll need to buy tax again once you decide you want to bring it back out.

Whatever you do we are getting bumped off because insurance is going up in January anyway with the insurance premium tax rise. But if you decide to SORN a car you'll never get back the true value of the tax and then you have to pay the full whack again when it comes to re-taxing.

Thats shit, i spose its to help with uninsured drivers - shit all the same :/

Don't see how it can help with uninsured drivers.

Nothing stopping you driving a SORN'd uninsured car?

It will be another way for the government to make money, they must have seen a difference between the amount of taxed cars compared to the amount of insured cars i.e. more taxed cars than insured ones. So if all those taxed cars now have to be insured it means they will raise more money through the insurance premium tax...which as I already stated is going up in January.

wanted to sell my polo as i'm out of work, but for how cheap i'd have to sell it for it wouldnt make sence with all the money i've spent on it in the last couple of months. Takes the piss hopefully i find work before the tax runs out

I've a new found interest in the jetta again after being denied sales on various bikes. Plans so far are cheapest nastiest ebay coilies, towbar, some sort of system, better pads/discs and a cherry bomb.

Colour change and smoothing and work on my (stance) lol

Generally stop the van getting any worse, and hopefully make it better in some repects. Poor old thing works too hard to get pamperred though.

I'm really really wanting to do lots to the polo but got a resto project that's been sitting on the front lawn under a sheet for waayyy too long and I need to get that done.. so much work to do, and its at such a frustrating stage :(

Having said that I'm sure I'll accidentally spend precious pennies on the polo

Anyway to answer the question properly: Body work, engine, wheels, interior, electrics.. and everything else
