Must have had things going on. but am gonna sound like a dick and say that taking your own life is pretty grim and just wish (even tho not possible) that they could just give the unwanted years of there life to someone who would have loved to live that little longer than they had.

^^ a friend of mine comitted suicide last year and I cant help but feel although we were all very angry with him at the time that its such a waste.

A lad round my way took his own life last year, hit our community hard! I coudln't help but think it was a selfish act as the trail of greiving left behind was enormous!

I find it interesting that animals dont have the ability to have suicidle thoughts as it is a very abstract human way of thinking. We as a human race could learn alot from the animal kingdom about this subject, batteling through hard times and negitive thoughts with a more positive, thirst for life attitude.

Layne was such a top fella.

Always had time to help you out on any vw problem, all you had to do was send him a text and he would reply straight away. Give it an hour and it will either be sorted or be on the way to be sorted.

He had been having a few problems with life generally, and although, it was unexpected and incredibly upsetting, his suicide was another cry for help. Just in he wrong way.

I am glad to have know him, and be lucky enough to call him a pal.

Its not just the thoughts of suicide that are worrying but sometimes the determination to go through with it.

A couple of years ago there was a lad not far from me who took his own life.

At first he tried to drive off the small cliffs near here but his car got stuck in the muddy field...so he just simple got out of his car and threw himself off the cliff which I just find disturbing.

Anyway to the lad mention in this thread: RIP.

a friend of a friend killed himself some years back, tied a rope around a lampost and the other around his neck, then got in his car and drove off. he was found sat in his car in the morning by a dog walker, his head was about 25 foot further back down the road. must of fucked the dog walker up finding that

i only know of one person whose killed thmeself and it was a bit of a darwin candidate.

Wrote his bike off on the hazzy grane road, emerged unscathed. so the next day hes caining about in impreza, stacks it down a ditch and his cranium interfaces with lots of bits of interior and shit.

I used to work in a mental health unit and from expereince people who get to that point are that desperate and low that no one could stop them trying to kill themselves.
