well had the wheels sorted out and i am stoked at how they have turned out awesome job on them !! and had the sub-frame colour changed at the same time just because i can

here is one of the wheels, but need to sort out the bbs logo that goes in the middle !

going for a black green theme with the car and I'm sure when the car is done it will look spot on !!

also put one of the alloys on the car today just to see how it sat and i love how it looks and once the new calipers on there which will be green will look awesome !! ignore the shitty wing , haven't put the new ones on yet !!

going to add a green rim around the wheel may vinyl wrap them first to see if i like it or not and go from there , . max has got the head so hopefully will get that skimmed by him and sorted and build engine back up and get it running again hehe , much more to come soon hopefully ,

no rush on that head mate its all cool , i put the cog shaped object in there with it too as i know you said before you needed it to balance up that vernier pulley ,

i had the wheels done at metal magic in barnsley http://www.metalmagicwheelrefurb.co.uk/ really nice people and to be honest the finish is lush ! really couldnt be any happier , will look spot on once some green calipers are under there and the new wings are on the car :)

not really much more news on anything , not really done a great deal of anything lol . was bored though and had these lying around so had them painted up

need to start getting on with the body work , but will get done when i can and have time

cool beans mate , not alot to look at as its just sat in the garage haha , need to get a move on with it really ! need to get subframe on and sand down wings , take old ones off , put new ones on , just time really and I'm crap and dont know what I'm doing half of the time lol

no new news on car other than its sat in garage , might end up just scrapping it as haven't got anywhere with it, will see though

done a little more to this lately

removed both wings of each side in prep to put the new ones on !!

prepped up one of the wings so far and fitted it onto the car ,, needs a little fiddling but looks better than the old sharp mess that was there before ! ! !

started sanding down the paint too to get ready for a full respray in a mystery colour hehehe

gave the engine bay a clean out to get rid of some of the old grease and muck and illegal immigrants hiding out in there

sprayed up the front bumper as it was looking so dull and grey ! but now back to black and looking good

got the cylinder head done finally !!

i polished out alot if the internals to make them alot smoother and remove factory cast marks in the areas it needed using the trusty dremel ! had it skimmed and cleaned up ! had the valve guides sorted and refitted to make all tight as the old ones were all saggy n loose ! relapped the valves and built all back up with the Gt Cam instead of standerd one !

hopefully getting this back in the car on sunday !! so fingers crossed i can have her running

also got some new seats to put in the car ,, just need to get them re clothed as want a different colour ! but think they are going to look really good once finished !!

Looking awesome man, I've just read all of this thread and need an update dude, where you at with the car now..?

I just bought a polo coupe s and looking doing a lot of the stuff you did.. gt cam, poly bushes, bike carbs stainless exhaust and 4-2-1 manifold etc

Can I ask where you got the stainless exhaust from? And how much it set you back? I'm struggling to find one and as mine has a rotten exhaust I've gotta get something and dont want to chuck a standard one on..
