put some new rubbers on the black basterd , haha ,,

went for a slightly lower profile this time as i thought the 185/55 felt abit high ,

Yes dude , with a bogg bros manifold and standard cbr600 rubbers

been really slow on the car lately , ordered some new wings which i am waiting on , then need to get them sprayed up and made to look nice , got some vented discs and brake setup which should hopefully going onto the car this friday if the weather holds up ! going to pimp the boot out too which should look funky when i have done , not really got any more to say other than this ,

Wahooo ,. finally got my new front wings that i ordered from Vw . getting them sprayed up and putting them on soon so the fron end wont look like a hug pile of ass !! also managed to get the front nylons on the dog bones just got the rear axels to do now , also looking at getting either a stage 2 or 3 subframe slapped on shortly too , but i think p.performance are out of stock at the moment ,

been looking at some new seats too but struggling to find some nice new ones , may just get mine re-covered and made to look all posh hehe

also been considering big new things for the engine ,

and also still not got my god damn bike carbs on ! but hopefully next weekend will be judgement day

just need to get a choke for them from somewhere :S . ?

looking good man same handling specs I'm using rear g lader beam bushes and front outer tca bushes, I'm also going stage 2 frame hopefully ordered it just waiting for yoof to get back to me for payment info and I'm also running some strongflex inner tca bushes as heard they are better than powerflex and they are alot cheaper too.

yeah i was gonna look into inner ones , got the g blocks and outer ones on now , subby should make some nice difference round the bends on the way to work , how you found the s.flex ones ?

yeah i need to message again about subbys , not sure whether to just put s3 subby on as gonna end up being mean in power wise when i get my arse around to it all , but not sure whether track days will be my thing ,

i would love a s3 subby just cant justify £500 atm tbh plus need to get a full ss exhaust made up so just going to go with the s2 subby and may upgrade next year when i get on the big power. also I've seen on clubg40 they are offering rear adjustable tca ars now they just haven't put them on here yet i think i may ask about them too later on. And cant say anythjing about the sflex ones yet as only just fitted them to the car last night same with the glader outer ones. but i shall let you know and for £23 odd quid they are deffo worth giving a shot better than £60 odd for the powerflex ones that everyone seems to shred

o0o0oo0 rear adjustable ! i shall go look into that , would it work on a mk2 ? as the mk3 is loads different isnt it ?

i think the outer tca g lader has made a massive difference !

i meant adjustable tca arms not rear lol dont know why i put that but they are rose hip jointed like the proper g40 ones but they are also adjustable

Wouldn't bother with a subframe unless your going on trackdays etc, i would advise ARB blocks, polybushing throughout and a front brace between TCA or ARB mounts.

been so slow with it all dude , needed to get a few extra things , like throttle cable etc . waiting on a friend who is helping more than anything , will have to pester him . alot of coolant pipes are shagged too so need replacing coz its leaking alot , and will need pipes slapping together when carbs go on ,

ok well the carbs are on , running ok just a few tweeks needed . hopefully will be getting them tuned up tomorrow , just need to ring them first thing , so fingers crossed ,. got a stainless 4 branch coming too as well, waiting on a vernier pulley from the mighty max . so when thats done the cam will be going into the engine , sub frame too soon , so all in all , car is coming along finally ,

got two brand new wings as well , just need to get them sprayed up and sorted .

got calipers to put on too at some point ,

here is the engine and carbs so far, ignore numbers , i used that in another post earlier ,

wired up a manual choke today , super old school now baby , and also started tidying up some of the wiring ,, getting the carbs set up tomorrow so there first thing in the morning and hopefully have it back for some time after dinner and then back to work on the clean up of wires and may also give him a wash and clean up some of the engine bay as it is quite grubby ! .

u should wait till you have the cam ect on and then get them set up or youll have to do it twice!

I think you'll be alright, its only a mild cam and the carbs will meter in the fuel to compensate the extra air with them being vacuum controlled.

Definitely more perky now , plus sound alot nicer !! I drive alot so wanted to get them done sooner than later , got a 4 branch coming too so get that on and with the cam and pulley should be a nice little runner :)

When they're set-up it should be pretty god dam quick. Pushing 90bhp easy with then cam.

I would like pictures of the HIDs on and against a wall as well if possible?
