here is the read out from having the carbs tweaked , still have the gt cam to go on yet

as well as the stainless 4 branch mani that hopefully will turn up tomorrow ,

but pleased with the progress so far so cant complain :)

i dont know to be honest dude , i already have a stainless system through was just missing the mani , got this to go on and then i have the gt cam to drop in with a vernier pulley so when all that is on and i have done a little more fettling will get it back on the rollers and see where i am at

got the new manifold after a nightmare of a nightmare haha , but got it on in a pikey fashion . think its blowing ever so slightly so gonna weld it up . shapow !

hopefully got the subframe coming soon , and then got plans for taking the car off the road and working on it properly, so will be getting a newer car to travel to the place of pain aka my tattoo studio , hehe

grabbed my subframe on saturday so all gravy , so just need to get that fitted and and also have my cam to put on the engine too with the new pulley , need to make a start on the body work too make it all shiny and new hehe

gave the car a wash yesterday , winter weather depresses me seeing the black knight all mucky and sludged up . although it will most likely be muddy again soon haha

leaving the subby until i have some more time to mess around with it and can be bothered . also gonna start looking for a new engine for next year , looking towards the afh route but might try something a little different ,. but will have to see it needs more power hehe :)

I am going for a black and green theme, eventually fat green roll cage haha , was thinking for some new wheels but yet to find some I really like that's all !

well finally pulled my finger out and starting making some progress with the car , currently suffering from a headgaskey problem , so have taken the cylinder head off the car which i need to get skimmed which i know max said he would help me out with , also need to give him my pulley ! here are a few shots .

also started on removing some of the interior , removed the back seats and side cards , pulled all the speakers out and amp and everything , spare wheel gone to make lighter ,

started on rubbing down rocker cover for a fresh lick of paint , and also got the VWII brakes to fit onto the front which I'm currently cleaning up so can have a fresh lick of paint , green green green . also going to look into rear brake disc conversion too just because i can :) hehe , many other things in the pipe lines for this car so will hopefully have a busy year with the little black dude

well got the rocker cover pretty much free of paint and any crap so its bare metal waiting to get a lick of paint :) here is how it looks .

also got a blanking plate for where the old fuel pump went into the engine as i just shoved a screw into the pipe before and wanted to get rid of the clunky old mess and replace with a nice shiny plate also had a recess put in for where the original O ring sat . here is how that turned out personally think it looks shit hot even if you dont really get to see it lol . polished aluminum

just got calipers to get clean now , and rub down the new front wings i have , then onto cutting out rear arches and welding in new ones

Yeah would be cool man :) need to give you this pulley still and head to skim . While its all off you think it's worth port n polishing it a little ? Or maybe anything else ?

well done a few things recenty ,. hopefully gonna spend some time on monday messing around too getting jobs done ,

got two new wings so sand down and prime and paint and throw on the car as ones on car now are knackered .

also started cleaning up engine bay a little as its a right royal mess in there ,

also took valves n shizzle out the cylinder head so can start getting it all cleaned up and what not

still got rear arches to cut out ,

also need to respray front bumper and re plumb up the HL washers , got vented discs to put on , gosh loads , anyways i will stop dribbling on :) for now

been taking some bit off car to give it a respray or generally a glood clean here is a cheeky shot of the front

rubbed down two new front wings and need to take them to my mates to primer up properly ,

he is gonna cut the rear arches out too and weld in the replacement rear arches i have

also bagged these for £80

so gonna get them powder coated and made nice again , probably go black with them with some form of green on there

also rubbed down caliper and painted it green , its not perfect , but i wont lose sleep over it haha

need to find a roll cage too , and when its running again , a respray is in need then wanna get a g40 in there and sorted
