Agreed with boys above. :)

You can have a look at my thread. I have some 16" Audi winters, although they're not on the car yet. Surely I wont look like a chav. :)

So yeh, 16" RS' as shown above.

thanks guys,u hav any clearance issues? i kinda meant like shit wheels on a small car like corsa style when people put huge wheels on em,but these look lush wiv 16's n they dont look to big either, perhaps i might go for larger wheelies

Just keep your profile nice and low, will look good. IMO, 16's are as big as I would go on a 6n

I have 16s with 195/45 profile tyres and experience no scrubbing, although the car isn't lowered too much. I am a chav though.

They look far better on a 6n2 than 14's imo!

tuck = WIN!

So i is a chav den?

With the .:R badges and Eurolite stickers, I would say yes you are lol.

Doesn't putting bigger wheels on your car much up the speedo though?

Word

yea speedo is affected my speedo is 10 mph out anyway for some reason n i am running 15s,obvs with different size wheels it will change slightly but 10 is a bit much lol when i say shit wheels i mean like tsw or wolfraces from halfords lol

Why would 16 inch rims make you look like a "chav"?

you are kinda missin the point,if u read bak u might understand what i was gettin at,largish wheels on a small car not lowered much, looks like a monster truck?? mke more sense?

but at the end of the day its your car, if you like huge wheels then put them on!! likewise with smaller wheels. If it looks good to you then surely you dont have to ask people on a forum wether you look like a chav or not!!!??

No it shouldn't affect your speedo at all. When plus sizing wheels you down size the tyre profile. Generally speaking, for every inch of wheel you add, you drop a profile size, ie go from 45 to 40. You can also vary the section width but we won't get into that here.

For example... 6n2s fitted with 15" wheels from factory run 195/45-15 tyres. For a close match, on 16s, you would go to 195/40-16. This causes less than 1% of speedo inaccuracy, which would be taken up by different brands of tyre anyway, or even just tyre wear.

i very much doubt it is 10mph out.

there made to run 15's standard with a low profile tyre...13 and 14's have a larger tyre to compensate.

16's with some skinny tyres will probably work out around the same rolling radius.

You'd probably not even notice.

Rolling radius is everything. My 17s have the same rolling radius as the 15s I have on at the moment.
