1.3 6n Bad water leak

Featured Replies

Hi all.

My car has decided it doesn't want any water in it any more and spit it all out over the road.

It was fine, then the low water light came on whilst driving home on the m25. Stopped, topped it up. Fine again.

Next day the light was on again, so filled it up and I had a look and there seemed to be a small leak in the rad, went to go and get some RadWeld or similar just to sort it until I can get a new rad after Christmas and the engine suddenly overheated. I pulled in at the garage and after letting it cool, filled it up again and water was POURING out of the bottom of the rad and somewhere to the left of the block.

The rad I'm fine with as that is an easy fix, but what do people think the other leak could be?? Water pump maybe? Or have I ruined the block?

Thanks guys, any help would be appreciated.
