What to do with my Polo?

Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just wanted to see what people thought I should do with my polo?

I don't want to go overboard on it, as I know someone will just come along and damage it (it's quite rough where I park my car for work!)

I was thinking of getting the back 3 window tinted (know someone who can do it rather cheap for me), I would like cheap alloys and a new radio and sub.

Any thoughts???

Cheers

Rosie

Cool, thanks. I was thinking about lowering it, only problem is where I live has really lumpy roads so didn't want to damage the car. Where do you get the gti parts?

I'm from wiltshire, i swear, the roads are AWFUL, also, want cause too much trouble aslong as you don't go really low

and the GTi parts are often on eBay or the classified section on here, if not, go to VW and order them in, but pretty expensive from there!

Thank you all very much for the advice. I need to go to a meet, see what I can do with my car. I currently use my bosses rally car garage for mot and services, so everything under the bonnet I want doing comes pretty cheap and of a high standard. I just want it too look nice on the road!

Hi there, i've got the same polo and i do agree with the front splitter and gti grille, the other modification that i think is common but makes a hell of a difference is removing the rear wiper arm, a smaller arial and spray the badges black. i've just bought a bonnet bra as i think it makes a significant difference to the look of the car without having to smooth the bonnet. also with the coilovers you wont have any problems as long as its not too low and just try to avoid masive potholes lol. my next modifications are a monkey hanging from the back, and some deep dish wheels/banded steelies. if you need any help or advice on home done modifications, pm me :)
