my polo 6n as it stands

Featured Replies

Looks alright man, id make a few changes though ;)

-Mk5 6n2 black Led rears what's wrong with red lights?

-remove PVW sticker (I made that mistake once) Remove ALL stickers

-Possibly 13 x 7&8's ATS Classics? I reckon they'd suit your car tbh would look dreadful, completely the wrong size for a 6n

-New standard plates & use sticky pads rather than screwed in agree

:D

Edited a bit.

I dont understand why some people are so critical of your car? Maybe its not to their taste but i think if they dont have something at least vaguely constructive to say then dont say it.

I quite like this car.

All the mods aren't to MY taste but i dont feel the need to point this out.

I quite like the jdm theme by the way ;)

haha cheers dude i seem to be getting alot of good comments the last couple of days for once

used to have an anodized blue tow hook, took it off after a week didn't look right

This car has taken some stick but i can see why. It's not to my taste but then again i think everything should be symmetrical with small attention to detail and this car isn't.

But that's the only reason why really so it's mainly just the stickers that could be stuck on in better places or removed altogether.

Apart from that though, i gather this is the lad's first car and he's only just passed too so he's learning and doing well fixing up the motor on his own to his liking!

(p.s. i have to admit, it took me a while to work out what the hell was hanging off the back of the car, so that's like some custom tow eye?)

yer it is my 1st car and i am doing it to what i feel looks nice

the tow eye is from tegiwa and has been put on using extra strong metal connected to the chassis its hard to explain though so i wont bother

Mate the first thing you should have done with this car, is get that glue off the boot lid where the 1.4cl badge was. Takes 2 mins and would make the arse end look a lot better. Simplest thing

That new bumper cleans the back end up lovely! :)

^Above though, get the glue off and new wheels and it'll be sweet! What are the plans for it now?

I want a new set of wheels, but a 150 quid phone bill is setting me back. :/

looks good pal . the only thing id change is those rear lights , they just dont look the part

i would get the glue stuff off but its a pain in the arse i need to get some nailvarnish remover and a heatgun to it

it doesnt feel like normal glue it feels rockhard litrally

i am thinking about getting some 6n2 rear lights but moneys are tight so unless i can find some at the local scrapyard ill have to keep with the black ones which i dont think are that bad tbh

T-cut works wonders. It just looks like half a job, and if its worth doing, then its worth doing properly. TLC!

plans are to get some 6n2 rear lights, get some rota gt3's black spokes with red dishes, smooth out front bumper so it looks 1 peice rather than 2 peice and have a japstyle numperplate on the passenger side corner, laguna front splitter, carbon fibre wrap the bonnet roof sideskirts and splitter then after 2 years ill either put in a turbocharged honda civic dohc vtec engine or a supercharged g40 engine into it, oh and will have some proper stretched tyres and will be going at least another 30mm lower

i would get the glue stuff off but its a pain in the arse i need to get some nailvarnish remover and a heatgun to it

Just get a toffee wheel off eBay, they're about 5 quid and I'm sure it will do the job. :)
