haha just showed my missus this haha, we will see what happens, airs looking possible, and if i do a engine conversion its not going to be gti, I'm thinking more like a pd130 with bigger turbo, exhaust, remap and front mount, in a nice cleaned nearly smooth bay. time will tell tho :)

Right some updates

so some will remember i brought this off here..

I've got this

and then did this tonight

Removed the carpet

Cut the front off

Cut a big bit out

Mocked it back in place

now i know the sub still fits i will stop on, fibre glass it back together tomo and then fettle it till I'm happy to re-carpet it

i also made some quick templates of the grill I'm doing

and thought i would share my first attempts at this, it gone tits up, you can see a bend in the middle. so got another front bumper just need another rear to start again

thats all atm, if i get another rear bumper i will finish all this in the crimbo holidays

hahaha thanks mate, looked at the gtill tonight gonna make some changes tomo,

nope bumper to far gone, it in about 6 bit after trying to bring it back to life, but learnt from it and gonna make it better :)

Thanks mate still more cleaning to go, got more been looking into air the last couple of day so watch this space

right so i managed to give it a wash for the first time in over a month

jacked it up cleaned the inner arches and put the other steels on which have almost fresh tyres

washed and dried

also manged to get the install in, still need setting up but sounds ok

and a little shot on the super muddy farm

hoping to do more with the grill soon, and hoping to get the lupo 3L steering wheel on soon

cheers mate, means alot, its sitting like crap atm with its winter steels, some time playing with spacers on the bbs RW's should see it better then last year, but like i say hoping for air just gotta save lol

right so sh!t got real tonight.

yep i have just stripped a £300 steering wheels, not liking the grey so getting the centre painted, not sure if i should get it done gloss black, blackberry (colourcode) so something

else

oow and my wiper stalk has also crapped its self some how :( i can turn the wipers on but then not off lol

Nice to see the motor today buddy, the colour is so much better in person than in the pictures.

Steering wheel should be colour coded in my opinion. It would be nice to see what it looks like with that lupo 3l style grill. Can't wait to see it finished :)

cheers Craig, yer the car looks alot better in real lift tbf, dropped the steering wheel off for paint tonight I've gone for gloss black, but hey i might have another one coming haha so might get the other painted colour code, yer need to crack on with getting that grill done shouldnt take to long :/ might make some more changes to it lol
