Nice looking car..

Do you have any problem getting the seats in and out of the car with the roll cage in there? Or does the vertical bits fo the cage and the cage feet obstruct it?

Also is the seat fully back in this photo? Or would you have any problem running the seat fully back?

The reason I ask is I have the same cage but I haven't fitted it yet and the car is at the body shop. I'm going to have road seats and track seats so I need to be able to swap them in easily.

Cheers,

Mark

No i dont have and problems putting them in but the buket so in totaly diffrent they dont slide in the runner the frame bolts to the runners then the frame actualy has its on runners on there i dont no what it would be like with standard seats as you have to slide them in. and no the seat still has further back to go dude

cheers

Ben

nice mate, get those front door cards off!

Na will look poo without em the rears are only out beacause the cage ripped em posibly get them flocked along with the dash

flocked dash will be nice, i'd be tempted to make some light weight doorcards, suit the track style proper.

Id like some ally door cards but its sot of an odd shapped door have to look into it a bit more

I've started to make some plastic ones for mine, i've got a pretty good template so far man.

Cheers for the info Ben.

I guess the only way I'll know for sure is to take my cage to the body shop and check :)

Hopefully we will see this at the Club Polo Track day! :)

Yer i hope to go dunno if it will be ready as id like to do everything i want to do to it before its on the road as it will be my daily but i got a reliable polo saloon at the moment so I'm not tryin to rush to get it all done:)

Hopefully see you there

good work. I didnt realise safety devices did a normal 6 point bolt in cage. for the polo. when i got mine i had to get the full 15 point double diagonal cage.

glad to see this car is going to be used for some motorsport as that engine has some poke. a nice set of bog bross motorbike carbs on that motor would be amazing.

Cheers dude that's was the first thing I removed was the battery outta the boot there was no need for a big one and didn't like the big wires trailing through the car so put it back in the front the main reson reson is I want to run a spare wheel as its my daily amd don't want to be styck somewere for the sake of no spare wheels:)

if i move mine it'll be going at the side of the boot as i need a spare aswell

good old ebay ;p;

you got a link for the paint mate ? ;)

cheers

Some good threads up on here these days and this is one of them.

Top work.

Lot of hard graft going in here and the results speak for themselves. Only thing i don't like is starmags as the offset is a bit intense for polos if they are mini fitment? What is the offset on them?

Would have looked awesome on some motorsport inspared wheels.

Top marks though. Looks very good.

What did you use to clean the gearbox with? I'm struggling with mine, tried loads of stuff and its not coming up anywhere near as nice as yours :/

Nice dude. what colour does the green actually look like though?is it the mad colour or is it a kinda dull minty colour? because the pics are a bit deceiving. :)

Cheers dude the starmags arnt going on as you say the offset is ridiculous

I'm hopping to get some compmotive M o's on there its starting to come together:)

love compo mo's, those starmags look nice but i've seen them on polos and as said the fitment doesn't look too good
