dude you have done a great job i really like it I'm getting another 6n very soon had a 1.3 and a valver did you paint it yourself? tidy paint job i paint cars for a living got a few questions hope you can help?

how easy is it to fit a 6n2 dash? is it just taking the old dash out n fitting the new one do the plugs for the clocks fit straight in or is there much messing about? same as the heater stuff?

what paint did you use on the gearbox? and has it stuck ok?

also for the engine change did you have to change the loom or ecu?

any help much appreciated keep up the good work

Thanks Nah the bodywork was done at a bodyshop. Wheels and bay were painted by myself in my garage with aerosols.

6n2 dash is easy with the right guidance, I have 80% of a conversion here if you're interested mail me :) Not looking for much! Any questions regarding the dash mail me and i'll send you the answers the best i can :)

Gearbox was painted with Hellfrauds VHT Matt Black BRUSH ON, yea its stuck fine, coverage is good if you use a good quality brush :) The gearbox was put in a parts washer to clean all the crap off it prior to painting :)

Had to change the entire wiring system from the 6n2 gti and then change the appropriate plugs back to 6n (headlights etc).

Car is drivable, nippy little swine now!

New tyres all round, 165/50/15 and I have 5mm front spacers (to clear brakes on mazdaspeeds) and 20mm hubcentrics up the rear..

Sits so much nicer! Tracking and camber early after the weekend, interior going back in tomorrow and she will be complete!

Front wont be coming down on the coilovers that are on there now, some reason the passenger one is out of thread lol Plus if i lowered it more i wouldnt get into my garage or work ahah

Soo.. not much has changed, car still has a few interior pieces to sort out like windows and stereo system.. Been having problems with them so gave up for a while.. hopefully be sorted this week or I'm going back to manual windows.

Bought some clear-lensed headlights to change the front end a little, make it look a little less factory..

Extremely high level of good quality work, your attention to finish and style is great, everything ties in really well (Apart from engine bay colour but guess that's the idea).

The engine conversion looks factory which I think is great.

Yea the whole green bay thing is cause its not something you expect to see when you lift the bonnet.. Red was the obvious and predictable colour to go and would have looked like the car was red originally.. green matches the harnesses and wheel nuts (with rotas on)

Those who went to Modified Nationals saw that my little JDM Whore made it inside on the Deutchland Red Carpet Area! So so happy with what the car has achieved over the years!

More pictures to come once they have been emailed over from the photographers.. Car will be at players Classic next weekend, come say Hello!
