Ill reply to all at once.. it wasnt easy, but it wasnt hard really.. HOWEVER.. my experiences converting the dash will be more easy than others.. I bought the dash from a guy who had already been running it in his 6n, fully converted. So essentially i had to just solder together the matching colour of wires.. So i cant take that much credit for the difficulty of it..

Although, if you have aircon in your 6n then expect it to be gone unless you can get a 6n2 heaterhouseing with air con too. Left a 10x8cm (ish) hole in my bulkhead where the aircon pipes came through.. just chemical metal'd aluminium mesh over it to cover it up..

Like i said, for me, i wouldnt say it was easy, but i wouldnt say it was as difficult as it could have been (because the wiring was plug and play essentially)..

It doesnt fit perfect either, need to try and push the drivers side in a it further cause theres a bit of a gap between the dash and the a pillar.. not noticable when the doors closed tho..

Yea i got stressed doing it with an already converted dash loom.. tbh for the hastle go all out for a Audi TT dash or something like that.. make it worth it!

hahaha! yes mate on my list of things to do.. its rather low tbh but yea it will be done :) and the handbrake :)

Another little touch.. wasnt too keen on it when i put it on.. but its slowly growing on me..

Hahah yea mate it needed something for people to go .. oo actually... hahah All the work so far and no-one realy cared, hopefully people will actually start taking the car seriously now :)

I totally agree mate :) they were on the car when i bought it so like they are wheels i dont care about tbh.. wheels are on my to-do list but I'm waiting to see if i can find a better suited set that the rota's.. looking to finalize the bodywork before the wheels, at least iknowe what it will look like if i buy them then etc

Yea mate deffo something better than sitting in a boring square 6n interior.

Unfortunutally the wheels are going to have to be put on hold for a while.. insurance is due for renewal at the end of the month.. £1800 :( Gone up by £50 from last year. First year on the roadddd

consentrating on the little cheaper details that would probably get overlooked if i just bought the expensive things like so progress will be slow but it will be for a good cause

Nah theres a slut of a flat spot where the guy did a shit job of fibre glassing and fillering instead of plastic welding :@

So, an update. But by far not a good one. However, ill start with a possitive..

Decided to make due with the wheels i currently had on the car and decided to spray them red. I got a few spray cans of 'VW Mars Red' from work and got cracking.. results werent perfect by all means but i didnt want something perfect as these wheels are hated.

Whilst the wheels were off, i tried on my mates wheels from his Starlet GT Turbo, Sprint Hart & Wed-sports 14".. Look mint in fairness! Cant wait to get my rota's with the polished lip..

And my wheels all fitted..

now.. two days later.. There was snow. Yea, enough said.

haha yea the wheels are a bit in your face for the blue, but meh i like it.. when the rota's are red with a mirror polished lip hopefully you'll change your mind

Bit of an update since the bump..

Car is going in for work.. i say work, the thing is getting dismantled. Boot, bonnet, doors and bumpers are comming off. Along with the windows..

She's having some fresh paint all over.. the last job was in a nutshell: a 'Piss take' of a job. So its getting rubbed back and starting all over from scratch. Properly this time.

Also, I've bought some New wheels

Little update..

Car was put back on coilovers before going to the bodyshop. They said would be better to see how much room they had to play with.. Although my car looked slightly like a saxo at one point..

Put my new mirrors on before it went up too, 2x 6n2 Stubbies..

And this is how my car sits at the moment..

Had a delivery aswell.. yey

You may think they are exactly the same as the ones i sold, but thats cause they are hah. 15's not 16's this time tho. Stickers will be removed, lips re-polished and centres sprayed red (as originally planned)

Updates will be of the car in the body shop for the next few..

Not a massive fan of the wheels tbh but thats just my decision, cant help but think that youve got such a hard colour to match up with.

what bodyshop you using as that white polo looks like someones tried to copy bigsexyrob's roof lol
