Fully rebuilt g40 engine,

Eaton M45 supercharger

19% reduced supercharger pulley

adjustable pulley set up

1.5 bar safe map with chip to match

race exhaust system

310mm injectors

stage 2 remap

51mm throttle body

then ill start getting it fully forged

Be very very difficult to squeeze 245 from a G40 engine even with an eaton etc. I think i nice running reliable daily 200bhp would be great.

Get it mapped up and everything running right and rolling road it. I want to see what it can do.

Iv told you scotty you will never see 245 from an eaton you will need a turbo, plus a W1 engine build, oil squirters, water methanol ect ect

Not even PPP polo is running 225bhp and that's got all the bells and whistles

Basically you would need an extremely large budget and a lot of time for R&D.

Anything 200bhp and above with the light engine will be a hoot in a well setup mk4 polo.

1W turbo build would be epic though. I want to see someone with more money than me do it :-)

Think he had a sick white GT with some of the best leather recaros i've seen in a mk3 polo, then a mk5 GTi, Then a TT 1.8T 225, and now a TT 3.2 V6. Cars are cars man don't get bent out of shape because of what people say. What does age and what car you had when got to do with anything? It's not a dick measuring contest.

245bhp is a MASSIVE figure to quote for a 1.3 G40 running an eaton. Even with all the cams and jazz and forging you want on it. Don't go mad for 'in the pub' power figures. No one cares that much about numbers anyway. Bare in mind that even dropping in a 1.8 20VT would be a maximum 225bhp without remap/work.

Quoted from an old club G40 post. "I run a 1341cc PSD bottom end, PSD big-valve head, K03 turbo, PSD turbo cam and other goodies - Maybe 180-200bhp? But dyno figures are just numbers really, its power is a lot more useable, that's what counts." Never truer words been spoken.

Also based on that beast only having 180-200bhp i would be suprised if your car is kicking out 190bhp. I'd like to see a RR printout for this thing.

Basically an M45 would not see over 200bhp without some serious work.

If going mad for 200+bhp then get a turbo and a serious wedge of money to burn, or a bigger engine.

When sam did the engine swap he told the insurance the engine code thats all they wanted they said converisns dont go on power they go on capacity ..... Then someone come out from the insurance to make sure it was all true iv been pulled in it loads of times and nothing ever been said
