open to offers on anything, full G40 conversion has sold tho I'm afraid

Hi, do you still have the g40 ecu for sale?

  • Author

no soz mate

hey grunge

I'm wondering about the pistons and rods for the 1.4..

am assuming the its jst a longer stroke or has the engine to be bored to a different specification?

I'm no info'd up on the differences of bores between engine codes.

also do you know milliage and usage of these?

would you advise the rings to be changed ?

will fit in a PY or ABD block, PY block is preferable as it is tapped for a knock sensor and oil return, not sure on age of them, and the rings were fine when fitted to tommos motor, may be worth doing as a matter of course when rebuilding up a new engine, saves doing it later in situ

ps yes its a longer stroke and requires no extra bore modifications

Ah a see! So crank rods n pistons included..

You have an idea how much in total

With postage to ky7 5js

  • Author

After 150 postage would be around 20 pounds solely due to the weight of the crank!

Would the pistons and rods fit a gt block? Or wrong bore size? Very interested.

  • Author

will fit into an abd block, unsure if they will fit in a GT block. i assume its just the stroke that affects the capacity and the bore size is the same.
