i've recently changed the fron carpet in my mk3 apert from a small house floor mat the previos owner had put in the passenger footwell under the carpet "don't know why" just found the usual pens, lighter, few coins and for some reason some large nuts "like you buy at crimbo" wierd thing though the car i stripped the carpet from had the same nuts under the carpet, i was crushing them when i nealt on the carpet

i found a knife inside one of the doors and a sub wiring kit under the rear seats and some change, still need to get the carpets out though

I've stripped my carpet today to do some welding on the drivers side floor pan (can never be to save when welding)

i found 3pens £1 coin with loads of grease on a official stanley stanley blade and a load of pop corn seeds :)

in a modified vauxhall calibra i had a while back it had a a sort of cylindrical shaped coiled wire covered in plastic with speaker wire coming from each end, does anyone know what it could have been as i have never seen one before

check down the plastic trim on the handbrake,i must have 50 quid down mine thats fell out of my pockets .Its my emergency fuel money

An old tv remote and some little glass tubes of insulin in a mk3 saloon I used to have

when I got my astra it was literally full of ash, the previous owner smoked and never bothered to flick it out of the window or in the ash tray... just all over everything else! Plus a magic tree so old it was hanging down in front of the CD player...

When I cleaned out my boyfriends car before it got sold I found loads of money, rolled up fags (loads of them under the seat), lighters, tobacco, rizla (some with random notes written on them) pens, one glow in the dark glove, fake blood, loads of little silver jewels (later transpired these were part of a broken bracelet from 5 years previous), haribo, fruit pastelles, maoam, event flyers, shell drivers card, jelly babies, loads of little nos shells.... You can tell this was a ravers car!!!

when i first got my polo there was 4 litres of water in the back where the spare wheel should be!

I found lots and LOTS of magnets.. the content? Very swetty muscly men. I think all in all i found abour 30-40 in the space of two years.. no matter how much i cleaned the car out i would find another O_o

All I found was a 2inch bit of wood (pine, nothing fancy either), wedged between the thing that directs air into the radiator and the body of the car.

Feel like i've been gyped reading some of the above!

In my loon I found a sub wiring kit (even though the sub was wired in...where did the previous owner get the wires!?), various USB cables which were perfect for charging my phone on the go, a small bag of weed inside the subwoofer port (previous owner mentioned it was a good place to hide it, so once he left I checked and found some he'd forgotten about!) and a proper shit limp bizkit cd.

Bought a MK1 Golf many years ago and found a bottle of Johnny Walker Red Label.

Me and my best man drank it the night before my wedding and were sick as dogs the morning after, reckon it was someones in-car toilet.

Never drank whisky since.

Other than that, all I've found is the usual change, tampons and the odd mobile phone.
