Wishbone bushes - to replace wishbones or bushes?

I had my car in for a service and I was advised on replacing the wishbone bushes which are a pain to get out of the wishbones themselves, therefore I was wondering if anyone had any experience on whether it would be worth my while to get new wishbones (already preloaded with bushes and balls) rather than paying labour to release the worn bushes and fit replacements. I can get two wishbones for £40! That seems cheap enough.
