Believe it or not they were just sprayed in gloss black and 'back to blacked' comes out a treat! Going to sand them down now as the paints shagged with all the snow and salt!

nah, thats nice, Love satin black, and it looks like its done properly. not a half attempt and still see the overspray etc.

did you take the door strips off yourself?

what method did you use to get the glue strips off?

Was this done by cans? How look did it take to do? Looks awsome:)

Door strips were already off but we took a mates off just using a small credit card sized ice scraper. If you have excess glue using a single edged blade at the right angle will finish the job and not touch the paint. You can try a heat gun but be sure not to burn or bubble the paint!

No it was sprayed at a body shop. Was already done when i got it i think as a favour to the owner as he deals with modified scooters so his painter did this for him, need to call him actually to get the underside of the bonnet done!

All i need is to find a GT engine and someone to help drop it in so i can get past this damn 45bhp! =(

Use a fudge wheel to remove the gunk behind the rub strips ;)

I might end up with matt/satin bronze by accident, got the paint but not the lacquer, and can't afford the lacquer, so might turn out cool....Do you reckon?
