The car has stopped starting I'm pretty sure its just an electrical problem but i haven't got the time to look into and the MOT has run out etc.

Engine might be fine but it has done around 140k. Gearbox on the other hand was reconditioned about 30k ago and is still perfect

Yes well i have one key and a full set of locks but reluctant to remove the steering column just yet as still need to move the car around the drive etc..

Do you know if the starter motor itself is dead?

If you have it to have, could you please measure the diameter at the bottom please (opposite end to the spinner)

Starters fine pal, sorry the cars at my folks and starters still on the car, its a standard one that comes with a GT if that helps... I'll be able to measure it on Friday
