thatts is truely sex!

I know where there's a 2500 mile RS500 sat in a heated garage. Guys son was in the army, bought it new and was killed in the 1st Gulf War and its sat in there ever since. He knows what it's worth though, think he's turned down about £50k for it from people chancing he doesn't know what it is.

Matt

I have a soft spot for fords.

My Ford has a soft spot for me (to weld)

Really kiz? I never knew that

As far as i can remember most UK versions have no grill, only pre-facelift ones. All cosworths have them though whether it be a sapphire or 3 door.

I remember my dad having a daily 1.8lx, was a great car but pretty slow.

Yeah I know who tickford were but I never knew they were only based up the road, that's a pretty cool little fact to know. I work with a chap who's dad built the rs200's up at tamworth, he's got framed photos of his old man working on them and told me a story of him having to test one down the A5, jimmy bastard

If he was doing the shells it most have made a change for him from building Reliant Robins.

Ford went to Reliant for the bodywork, due to their expertise with fibreglass (bear in mind this was the time when carbon fibre was for Ferrari's and not much else).

here she is finally got it picked up :-) be nice!!!!!!!!!!

what u reckon?

Where on earth did you find an unmolested Sierra that hasn't rusted, been put through a hedge/shop window or scrapped? It's even got the original wheel trims!

Thumbs down on the car in the original post though. Sierras work really well on rally slag wheels, Jap stuff (or faux Jap stuff) doesn't work for me.

Love the black one though. Oof!

just came up local dealer took it part ex so waited for a bit till the price lowered then snapped it up was quite surprised myself even got a radio non casette original still inside it

My mate had one as his first car. Bear in mind this was 1999. Had a Peco Big Bore exhaust on it and spent most of the time sideways... for the three weeks between passing his test and stacking it into a parked car and a wall at speed.

ye iv experienced the handling at the weekend wet roundabouts are fun :-) scared the shit out the wife! bit under powered for the size of the car but still loadsa fun to drive if you know how to handle them! i like to think i do

That looks tidy as fuck, although the photos strained my eyes a little

Are you looking to mod it at all? If you to imo a set of late spec tinted rear lights and clear indys tidy them up no end, always a cheap and easy ace to start with these

My dad had a 2.0 GL estate in white, those pics brings back memories and give me a headache. The unmolested nature of the car begs the question; Are you going to mod it?

ye that one looks cool and at decent price too wish mine had a sunroof
