spares or repair, polo 6kv

Featured Replies

Last week the car wouldn't start, I managed to get it to a local garage, they eliminated that it could be the starter motor. After running a vag test the problem boiled down to the ecu. They think there is a leak somewhere near the ecu and its let water in. Now the ecu is totally fried.

Before all this it had a new exhaust from the cat back, new brake pads all the way around, the oil,oil filter, pollen filter have all been changed, less than 150 miles ago.

mot runs out 31/july/11.

We have used this 'opportunity' to buy a passat, so the car is no longer needed. I'm due to deploy to Afghanistan soon so I haven't got the time to go hunting for the leak and a ecu.

The car is up for sale minus the wheels, (I've only just put new tyres on it so I'm keeping them!) gear knob and stereo (they're not mine!)

£250, I am open to offers, I need this gone ASAP!

I'm located in Odiham, its in-between Basingstoke and Aldershot

If the sale is local-ish I will follow the buyer home and take my wheels off there, or if possible bring your own!
