Thought I'd start posting.....

This is my second Polo GTi, first one was silver, sold it for a Audi A3 TDi due to doing high mileage but no longer need it so thought I'd get a little project.

Mechanically the car is sound but cosmetically it needs some work! So far I've replaced the worn inside door handles, worn tweeter cover and discoloured side repeaters. I'm getting some rear hella lights from Alex on here (cheers Alex!) they'll be going on next weekend along with some mudguards to help keep the car clean!

Once my Audi is sold and I have some pennies it will be going in to have the bootlid, front & back bumpers resprayed and the few trolley dings removed from the side panels :) Maybe getting the bumpers smoothed off too........ can't decide?!?!? Then lowered..... once I've done my research on what coilovers to purchase, need something decent with the potholes about!

The one thing that is really bugging me about the car at the moment is that the front bumper is squint.... I think the passenger side light needs adjusting, moved a tad higher so the bumper can sit higher too. Hmmm I'll post some photos later and see what people think! :)

Nice mate! The GTI's are real nice! I smoothed the bumpers on my 6n2, looks wicked but do some research but yeah get it slammed!

Even though i'm getting mine smoothed off right now, i think it looks good on black with the CC'd bumpstrips

Yeah I quite like them with the stripes too but I got quoted only £100 to have them both smoothed off when I have the bumpers repainted anyway....... I'm quite tempted now. :-D

Haha thanks...... not sure I'll be able to slam it around here, I'd lose it down a pot hole! it's definitely getting lowered a little though, from looking on here 40- 50mm is what I'm after.

haha i know how you feel mate, excatly the same where i am, I've gone 40-60 and its fine, could go a little lower but i plan to keep my subframe haha!
