I can't decide whether to have it notched or not.

Hey cheers man!

Heat the bump strips up with a hair dryer or heat gun and slowly take them off with a credit card or something similar.

Then you can use white spirit and a rag to get rid of the remaining glue, or people use a toffee wheel which you can find on ebay i think.

Try looking in scrap yards for 16v bumpers, or look in the sales section on here they pop up all the time. :)

selling your roof rack yet? :p

Nope :p

It'l go when the car goes.

So I had a fiddle with the car today, mainly with the arches, I straightened and pulled them out a bit, just need to finish painting them now.

Also dropped it another 10mm on the rear and it's almost tucking rim :)

Now I kinda want to have it notched lol....

I'm in the same boat mate. I've notched the front, bumps out blah blah, but still cant get it to sit as low as the back does. the b+w pic of mine shows this problem!!

I'm rewelding a set of coilies to drop the mounts on the front. It WILL not beat me lmao!

Thanks mate :)

One of my rear coilovers has had a problem for a while and I need to sort it.

It pokes out the top quite a bit and you can push it down and it will then slowly rise back up again...

I'm guessing the shock has blown or something?

Can this be fixed, I've been told I might be able to fix it with washers?

I've taken the coilover out today to have a look and can't work it out myself so here are some pictures.

Can anyone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it, does everything look alright???

Does this stick out too much?
