you have a blown shock if you can push it down and then it rises back up dude or there is too much play but by the look of thing's the thread is not stripped.. :/ washers could sort it but only for a short while.. :) hope this helped. if you push it down does it take a while to rise or does it just Pop straight up?

It wont go any lower without a notch anyway so the helpers may as well stay there for helping :)

Yeah this is what I thought was probably the problem, cheers mate.

It usually pops almost straight back up when you push it down, just depends how hard you push it down lol.

I'm confused with your coilover...it looked to me like the top hat was sliding down the damper shaft at a glance lol, meaning youd have just been on the spring, but I'm confused with your discription of the issue lol.

saying if you push it down and it springs back its broken that shit, why do you think dampers alone are always fully extended when not fitted, even without springs lol.

I'm not running any rear helpers on my car...because the helpers were too stiff for the weight of the rear, meaning they wernt fully compressed under vehicle weight, meaning the rear suspension had about 20mm soft travel before using the main spring, meaning rubbing aha.

i find it strange how people dont rub being so low...i have -2 deg on the front of mine, and its not even that low, I'm only on 7.5's with an offset of 25..and it will rub on the corner of the arch where it meets the front bumper...and the rear rubs on the corner where it meets the bumper too...even with the arches rolled and slightly pulled :)

saying that, i cant be dealing with it too low, its annoying to drive anyway, i got stuck on a kerb yesterday lol.

I'm actually considering raising mine and setting the corner weights, and doing a full laser geometry at work...but i dunno...if i was 10mm higher than i am now would piss me off..so respect to you man!

I'm liking it with the helpers out on the rear, it's a lot stiffer and didn't rub once all the way to edition and back.

I think it's due to my arches being quite wide now, and they look a lot better with the paint on, but trust me it's not a good job when you look up close lol, there is a hard line on the edge of the paint. Looks better than rust though!

I'm finally happy with the car, I've almost got everything done which I planned on doing and it's all mechanically sound now too.

Just a few finishing touches left I think, including the interior! :)
