as much as i want to like this, I'm struggling, i look at it with the wheels and i see naths car in my head and think that he did so much work to make those wheels look right on his car that i cant see past them if you get what i mean.....

Went to a random water plant just outside my village yesterday and took this.

Yeah I want to flare my arches, I've been pulling them out to get the Rota's to fit better.

All I have is a hammer and baseball bat though haha, I need an arch roller!

Yeah definitely, it just depends on if you are willing to chip some paint off from under the arch

I managed to flare them out a little bit with a mallet, I think it's given me a little more clearance.

I also cut the edge of the arch liners out at the front as they were hanging much lower than the arch itself, that's where most of the rubbing was happening I think.

They look a little rough and wonky at the moment, but I'll keep working on them.

I also made my rear lights sit almost flush as they were sticking right out before, which meant putting a huge drill into my car lol.

I've fit a mk3 golf centre console too, I will get pictures soon.

I also noticed that my rear passenger side top mount of my coilover wasn't really...attached anymore

It looks as if the bolt has shredded up the thread so it's now loose, I don't really know though, could it be that the shock absorber has packed in?

mate i fucking love this. i was going to get rid of my BBS's and get these wheels dammit wish i did it before i seen them on another polo! really nice pictures too!!! p.s may still get them in different colour :p

This happened to my brothers coilovers in the same places haha, his shot like all the way up though, was to do with the top metal plate below the top mounts...the strut on his jom coilies shot through the metal place, managed to bodge it with slightly larger washers below the top plate...because they're cheap coilies i think man, take it apart and have a look :)

Also is that your garage? how many tyres/wheels do you want?

Yeah that is my garage, we have a few sets of wheels lol.

I have 2 sets of steels, my brothers has a set of golf alloys, and theres another set of mr2 alloys.

Are they actually good for fuel economy though, I swear mine eats petrol, and I don't rag it around lol.

haha thats not a bad shout :p not sure whats going on at the min so many ideas mayb new car :( not quite sure yet! i was going to paint just the black part of the wheels red not to keen on the black with red dish!!

Take off the coilover and remove the top mount, then look at the plate below..see if the hole in the middle is wider that it should be or if you can tell that the strut has forced through it...if so just put some washer below it so that the strut can't go through it :)

and fair enough then haha, I had 8 wheels and 8 seperate sets of tyres in my garage last week...my mum went mental! However sold 4 wheels and 4 tyres now so it's not too bad heh :p

Got a picture of my new centre console, it's not finished yet so it still needs a little bit of work, and I'm also missing a couple of little bits for it

Also gave it a good wash.

So I took some new pictures in a new location for once, I think they came out really well

Only problem is I have used up all my memory on Flickr for this month so these have been uploaded on Photobucket and have lost a little bit of quality, I will upload them again on Flickr next month though.
