Doesn't need to be raised to get the bumper off.

It's been wound up for tomorrow so I can get it over a speedbump and into somewhere :)

Thanks man, means a lot :)

Body shop couldn't fit me in today so hopefully it should be in there tomorrow if all goes to plan :D

What about the arches sills and doors? Looking good though mate. Just bodywork letting it down now.

  • Author

I don't have the $ for all of that or a full respray

The arches and sills do defiantly need doing though, I'll probably try fix the arches myself and maybe have a go at the sills too :)

You getting the thing you asked my advice for done still at that bodyshop?

  • Author

Yeah if I'm thinking of the same thing as you then yeah I'm having that done :)

It's actually in today finally, should be picking it up Friday!

Notch^^?

  • Author

Not yet, but that is next on the list!

I need to sort it out with insurance first, has anyone with a notch on here declared it to their insurance?

I would think a notch is one of the worst things to tell your insurance that you are getting...

agreed. I plan to claim it as a repair patch if it came to it, pritty illegal whatever way you look at it! mine passed a genuine MOT with it though-

  • Author

Yeah that's why I'm looking into changing to proper modified vw insurance before I have it done so my insurance will be valid.

I don't know if I would tell any insurance company to be honest. I think it would take a really keen eye from an inspector to spot a notch

  • Author

Yeah I agree... It's just what if you end up with the inspector with the keen eye and have to pay out for the Ferrari you just crashed into for the rest of your life

happened in the accident sir.. HONEST

One of the best polos out there tbh, keep up the good work.

Too late now haha, the pillars have been done too.

Looks really swirly in that photo because it still has polish on it.

The bonnet and boot have been re-done too :)

not a fan of the roof but each to their own! bonnet looks real clean now though wish i had the money to get mine do as soooo many stone chips!

Please dont get carried away with this and start doing things for the sake of a modding habit.... it is spot on as it is!

I agree with Harley! Not a fan of the roof, don't get to the point of doing random shit, it's nice as it is mate. Obviously it's your car and can do as you like but yeah :) keep it freh and simple! Loves x
