was thinking of a 6n2 gti splitter, however dunno if can fit an 8v bumper without too much modding :/

Also you thinking of ever doing an engine conversion or keeping it 1.0l?

I know you can get them on the 8v bumper, not sure what you need to do to get it on though lol.

Doubt I'll do anything with the engine lol, way to much money and work involved.

I can see myself selling it towards the end of the year for something newer and faster anyway lol.

I had a fiddle with the rear arches today.

Anyone else ever tried this lol?

Works pretty well

looks quite good:) when i saw the 2nd photo wasent too keen but the 3rd photo looks like it worked prity well

I only did it for about 15 minutes quickly to see if it would actually work lol.

Ideally I'll be putting some damp plywood between the arch and jack so the wood bends around the shape of the arch.

I had no one to help me hold it all in place today though lol.

I feel i'm beginning to realise the less obvious mods people do to polos the better imo :) Its literally all about the drop and wheels! perfect example. love it mate! hope to meet you tomorrow

YEa live up on badgers used to have a polo same as yours running g60s

Cool man.

Yeah I heated up the whole time, if your only pulling them out a little bit then you can avoid cracking your paint, but if you need a lot of clearance it's going to crack lol.
