Get a tripod dude, they're only around £25-£30 for a nice tall one, makes night shots way easier and long exposures are cool too (I would think, I don't think my camera does manual exposer times :( ).

I will get one eventually, just got a billion and one things that are taking priority at the moment, including lenses

So today I finally got round to giving the '4Mo' the first proper wash and polish of the year. Back at the parents place at the mo but managed to find a bottle of Ultra Deep Shine and some Autoglym shampoo, better than nowt by any means!

I'm fairly happy with the result but the paint is in dire need of some attention, it's swirl city on the bonnet... If anyone around the Swindon/M4/Coventry areas has a machine polisher and wants to earn some beer tokens give me a shout!

The one aspect of the car I'm nearly ready to call 'finished' is the engine bay, maybe an S3 battery cover and some subtle colour matching and it's done. Cleans up rather nicely too!

Still have quite a few plans for the exterior and one or two small touches for the interior, assuming everything goes as plans expect big things towards the end of this year!

I'm amazed how well it's come up after a good few months of neglect over winter. The front bumper needs to go in the bin tbh, it's not even worth trying to polish it the paint is so shite in places

hmmm, I've been debating plates for a while now, I atleast need a new set of plain plastic ones.. did you go for proper legal jobbies? I'm also undecided about surrounds, I quite like the dealer insert thing on the front one...

Very smart, as good as dubmeister ones! And have all the correct stamps/reflectivity etc

Also , there are dealer surrounds out there, or you ccan just get plain ones/ drill your pressed plates like a badman

I am a badman afterall. Though I'd probably go with number plate adhesive!
