get smaller tyres/wheels? and is that on a spring/shock kit? if so coilovers will go much lower

Agreed smaller tyres although there 13 standards so can't get smaller wheels :) I need to get front arches rolled so I can go lower already 80 - coil and a bit I want some coilies but don't have £300 lying about :(

mines on springs and shocks 85mm at front with 3coils cut off and the back is 85

want coilovers but dont want to have to cut the sprinngs on then if it isnt low enough

small tyres might be the option

Just picked this little beauty up for my wife today. I have a couple of Scirocco's and she wanted her own retro VW. It's actually her 2nd bready but with a gap of approx 21 years inbetween!

It's a 1986 1.3GL that has not been on the road for over 2 years and that hasn't been washed for a lot longer!!

Lots of work to do but virtually zero rot or corrosion

Anyway first job is to get it running then get it cleaned - may take a while though

not the best photos but mine as it sits just now,

looks v nice , i like the colour and wheels

is that a very light tint on the glass?

yeah very light but slightly darker now :) hopefully coilovers this week or next but cant drive till next year :(
