Where did you get your mud flaps from? I'm finding it difficult to locate the correct ones for my car.

My GT, been dormant a while now tho.

No longer have a breadvan after an idiot didnt stop at junction and t-boned me 11ft into a house :(

rear of mine after fucking around with the suspension last weekend and giving it a good clean - flaps touch tarmach when stationary :)

front is down 80mm + lowered top caps and I cut a coil out too!

get the back up a touch to level it out and the wheels on and its a winner :)

If i go any lower I'm going to get into issues with driveshafts tapping the body so will need to notch it out, the 80mm kits are pants, unless you run really wide wheels they are really not worth the hastle if you want to go low. should have gone mk1 golf breaks hubs and struts from the start but we all live and learn by our mistake, but for now itll have a raise on the back to get it sitting nicely and not with loads of reverse rake

I spend so much time, money and effort getting my 56 beetle to sit right, ended up having a full front suspension beam made from scratch with adjusters and narrowed 7 inches to get it to tuck properly then had 5 different pairs of tyres to make it sit and look right and ended up with 135 70 15s, I think with this one though I'm gonna get the wheels finished and wrapped in a basic rubber and get them on to see how it sits then reevaluate where I go from there :)

thought this watercooled modifying lark was easy so I got a polo instead of a mk1 golf as they are simply much cooler cars but the strut design is pants and a pain in the face ripping through tyres as you cant adjust the camber up front at all!

and has anyone ever seen a breadvan with the wing mirror I have, I've only ever seen 1 other and its the picture in the haynes manual! even other GLs I've seen have go the normal wing mirrow with the thin neck

Is it not possible to use camber shims on the front... never looked into it myself? But Eibach ones are only 20quid or so, if that, I've got them on the rear to fit the wheels in the arches :]

Nope, nothing on the front doesn't rotate.. impossible to use shims

Yeah, bang shims on the front. It'll look like a clown car the wheels will rotate!

I dont think £70 is a lot for poly top mounts. And I'm not sure they would be all that harsh for road use. I can see the camber adjustment being a pig though.

Haha I have spare windows at home so can swap them over with the stickered ones. Once I change up the colour scheme when I get the bigger engine they'll most likely be gone :[ want a more classy look for the bigger engine, make it stand out a bit less.
