Not that low, I carry to many passengers to go much lower without serious scrubbing

Small update, gave the car another good wash, clay, polish and wax today aswell a serious interior clean.

Also added something slightly different with the steering wheel, to match the coming carbon bits.

Its a wheel centre cap sticker. I had a set of 5 so did the 4 wheels and this 1 was a perfect fit. Good times lol

nice to see another AUB powered 6n2 and have you done the stubby yet? i'm doing mine and i must say 100% definately use VW rattle cans for it they are superb.

Bit of an update. Bought some RXII's in need of a refurb (so really need the 16s to go). Going to have them gold, with the inside of the wheel silver, with a polished lip like these, getting custom carbon and gold bbs center caps. Not sure what colour to have the bolts though: silver, gold or black. What you think?

Also bought a silicone 90 bend and an air filter to make a DIY induction kit. Could somebody please tell me what to do with the breather pipe. I think it needs a small filter on the end but does anyone know what size it needs to be, I think its maybe 15-17mm but not sure.

nah theres brand new ones on uk ebay. but they do take 10 working days to come which is fail.

Bit of an update. Fitted DIY induction kit, not bad for £18, just needs a cold air feed extending from the origional to the filter. Also removed the sound deadning from under the bonnet.

Also picked up the wheels, ready for refurbing.

Also got all new spark plugs, ht leads, oil filter, oil change and gearbox oil change (from opie oils, highly recommended)

Cheers man, was a pretty fair price I'd say :).

Got all the wheels split without breaking any bolts.

Sending them to get acid dipped next week.

Cheers :) the engine is nice, power not far off the gti but cheaper insurance and pretty rare so s'all good.

Your cars coming along nicely too, I would keep the ronals if I were you. Like what youve done with the rear badge too.

get yours mapped so that you are running the same as the gti and still cheaper insurance

Yep, remap may well be on the cards in the future :)

Small update, had its MOT today and passed with no advisories , also bought new tax.
