Servicing (lights) & estimated costs

Featured Replies

Morning guys,

I bought my 6n on about 93k at which point I had to reset the service light.

I did an oil, oil filter & air filter change at around 100k and will hopefully get round to a full service next month at which point it'll be near 105k.

Yesterday my service light came back (103k), so I assume thats on a 10k cycle, and its also flashing oil. Is it possible to tell it that you've changed the oil without resetting the whole 10k cycle it does, so for a part service? That way in future I'll be able to do that on an oil change.

Also, I wondered what the average cost of a full service would be? This is my first car so don't really know, a friend did my part service for £50 which was alright, but might take it into a garage for this as I also need to get my front wheel alignment checked & 2 new tires as they've worn on the inside. (any ideas on the cost of that also)

Thanks :)
