Seemingly the only panel which wasnt damaged on the whole car was the bonnet, and the tinted headlamps

Begun sorting out the bodywork issue of the car with little experience before :S

Carpet was fully cut up by the previous owners trying to put speaker wires in there so had to do something 8-)

Pedal box... just what you get from a 6n i soon fixed this by replacing the whole pedal box which removing was a right b*tch

p100721123932.jpg

Old centre console was quite boring so i thought a mk3 golf one would look quite nice in there :)

might aswell address the bodywork issues!! DIY style lol

Also thanks for the positive comments guys :D

Spoke to a few people and getting some things moving, getting my exhaust system sorted since there's not much of a system on it atm! any centre boxes for sale on here as my entire centre section is missing :(. Also got hold of someone who can do wheel refurbs hopefully going to organise getting a colour for them (pretty much the only job i wont be doing myself!!!)

Peoples thoughts on a few ideas maybe? although I literally change my plans every day...

Anthracite wheels

led indicators all round?

red or black callipers not sure whether to make it a little different or just a average tidy up

Some sort of doorcard change any ideas what will direct fit front and rear?

Thanks for the comments guys :D

Looks GOOOOOOD!!! :-D loving the matt black

how did you find fitting the 16V bumper or did it just slip straight on!!! having trouble with mine :?

  • Author

went straight on my front panel was a little bent where someone has obvs pushed it back slightly but it fitted straight on for me if your having trouble maybe you just need to apply a little more force, put the centre allen bolts in first and then you can mess around to make the rest fit. It shouldn't be a problem, could just be the inner arches being an ass!! and cheers mate :)

Yeh cheeers mate i will give it a try tomorrow and see how it goes :-)

stickers class, looks nice as well buddy

happy days! will update this once I've got the car MORE together after a scrappie trip or two!

Thanks

Cool man, I need to take a trip to the scrappy, I'm missing so many little bits lol.

I've fitted a mk3 golf centre console now too.

It's no where near as tidy as yours though lol.

  • Author

yeah only problem is once u put your seats in and out a few times it can be a little fiddly, i used cable ties to hold the 2nd half towards the other part which helps to hold it together ;) cable ties are your best friend!!!!! aahaha

Thanks!
