Looks like a great base mate. I wouldn't matt black it though, it's so over done now. Keep it red, bodywork looks good man.

second that, just get some tcut out on it to get that red looking how it should

plus there isnt realy any mk3 polos round my area...

Polish it up and it'll be a completely different colour, you never know the colour may grow on you, mine has. For £200 think you got a bit of a cracker, anymore info?

Red can look awesome, tcut it and you'll love it Dont go matt black, its a nightmare to keep looking tidy as bits always end up shiny!

hmmm, not sure what to do to be honest :/

did try putting other pics up, but there to big to put on.. :(

should be taking the engine out pretty soon, and giving it a tidy up, paint it, file and polish the ports, and re-seat the valve etc...

then replace all gaskets and seals, get some lost BHP back!!

bit more about the car..

1992 polo, done 82,000 miles had 5 owners and for its age its MINT. just wonts little things doing like the glue on the sides, and little patches of rust on the O/S/F could do with replacing realy, but lack of funds is stopping working on it :(

engine is not far away from coming out now..

just need to take driveshafts out, and unbolt the engine mounts...

nice to see you moving so fast on this mate. looking good, if youre takingthe engine out why not replace it with something with a bit more power? :)

was thinking of the 1.4 16v AFH engine or a Gt, but i am only 17, and would be pretty expensive to insure... :(
