6n2 door locks

Guys.. my sisters 6n2 has 2 broken door locks (barrels).. the car is pretty basic with no central locking etc, but i did add aftermarket central lock pumps to it a few years ago, but the remote on that has also packed up !!! so its pretty difficult for her to get into her car now.

my question is, do i look for a 2nd hand lock set? or, do i get the repair kits easily available on ebay? has anyone used the repair kits before? are they easy to fix?
