50k is the income of 3 small families for a year!

Seems the mechanical side of things are spot on but come on? It's the car equivalent of Kelly Brook wearing an Ann Widdicombe mask in bed

Yeah the guys done well with the engine and mechanical side...but why..just why would you make it look like that? aha, this had me laughing for a good couple of minutes

the front makes it a disastra scene pardon the bad jokes but mechanically top notch

This. Fucking perfect.

Also with the spend £50K and not afford another front headlight... WTF?

Do feel sorry for the boy though :/

since when did lidl start selling car mods?

Looks like melted cheese.

If i spent 50k on a car then walked out my house one morning to see that, i would hang myself.

Not right giving him grief but that really is a massive waste of money.

Think it might be even more shite than some of those "show cars" at ultimate dubs. Think they were a foreign selection and they were gash. Inlcusive of that whack white and pink monster that too many people were giving attention to.

nah people are just gettin pathetic sending messages bet 9 out of 10 of them wouldnt say shit to his face! I'm not a fan of the kit, completely ruins the lines of the car! good engine work tho! i seriously think ebay should start to knuckle down on a "not interested dont message system"

Firstly, why a Astra, they are a pile of rubbish even before he started 'improving' it. Also it made me laugh that he only got bids of just over £2,050 for it!! I bet he crys himself to sleep at night know what a waste of time it was...

It makes me want to vomit.

Could have bought a house for that...but he/she has a gash astra van instead. Opps

Retarded money. But if someone came on having spent £50k on a flawless VW I doubt people would be moaning about the cost, arguing "it's still just a Golf/Polo" or whatever.

It's a mess, and there's no way it's had £50k sunk into it. Unless he's counting his own time and effort as labour charges at Bentley main dealer rates. Still, at least it's 'distinctive' I suppose.

must be gutting to know something youve spent 50k on, no1 will buy for more than 2k lol :/. i feel bad for the guy

Thats the single worst thing I've ever seen.

I dont understand why people think things like this look good?

I like to think I've fairly good taste, with a less is more attitude to cars, I completely don't understand what is appealing about doing that to a car...

i would of thought that any one who's ever built a car for themselves would totally understand why he did it tbh

as for it being a waste of money, isn't that a big part of modifying a car? if your looking for good returns then your in the wrong business

Yep, i dont like the car, but i respect the guy. unless he was just trying to fit in and failed, in which case i dont

^^^if he was trying to do that he would of just bought a vw and gone 'euro style'

epic

arches, skirts, front and rear bumpers are all steel

the running gear is lovely, everything looks to be done to a really high standard.

I reckon in about twenty years it will be retro and therefore very cool

He probably has Vin Diesel posters on his wall.

I have to admit it is very impressive the amount of work that has gone into this. Not my thing but each to his own. He could have done better leavin the body alone tho, and with those mechanicals have a proper sleeper. I cant get over the £50k tho  Just think what he coould have bought if he saved up rather than spending in little bits on that.

I would! I see it as a big waste of money. Probably why I don't have a car anymore! :?

Some people take it way too far!

It looks comical.

i seriously doubt he spent 50k on it even if he bought it brand new straight from the dealer
