bits and bobs

hello peeps...

couple of things-

the middle knob that controls the heat from cold to hot doesnt work anymore it just spins round and round and only hot air comes out. how easy is it to replace this unit and what do i have to do, i have another polo genesis so i can swap them over. i took one out and the two cables that are held on with gold clips look tricky

also the drivers chair - the lever that helps move the seat forward to let people in the back doesnt work and neither does the recline, can this be fixed? how easy is it to remove the chair and put another one in as i do have a spare drivers chair.

any help would be awesome!!
