Have you found it difficult to get a good colour match with the paint? the light covers were rattle can sprayed with VW LD5D but it does'nt match the rest of the car, even after machine mopping the car to try to get it back too an undamaged paint finnish.

They're off the car at the moment (post MOT as I had'nt aligned them ) but since that picture, I took the car to Nu-Again in Bedford and they mixed up some rattle cans to match and on a small rust spot repair the colour seems to be a good match, so I will get around to respraying the light covers with this new paint.

Thats another major problem, I'm looking for some thinner wheels with some thinner tyres as my tyres are bubbles, and my wheels are quite thick so it's a PITA as if i went any lower, the chassis rests on the wheel,

cant tuck due to thickness of the wheels :/

looking for some G60's maybe add a bit of stretch then deck it

Go for the 14" G60 look-a-likes with 155/55/14 tyres with the smaller wheel and stretch you'd be on the floor!!!

here's my old rattle canned polo.......haha but the wheels were cool!!!!

usually pick up a set from the scrappys for £10 per wheel (no tyres) so you can refurb em properly!! :)

Buy a set of 165 45 15's off a website called mytyre. Camber will then stop your wheels rubbing - you can go as low as you want then...

bought 12 cans of simonez satin black off ebay for £18 keyed the pink colour down and sprayed it on the driveon a sunny day!!! haha loved it!!

Just from looking at the last 5-6posts, i can see a dirty great dent in your boot.

IMO the pink is too much, it looks like a cheaply done 17year old, barbie doll look a like, car.

We just stuck the ISO rate on the camera up dead high so it picked up loads of light
